From humble beginnings as a small factory in 2000 to a globally recognized ergonomic brand today, Welax has always stood for precision, innovation, and human-centered design.
Welax, founded in 1998, began as a small factory producing plastic pellets. Through unwavering dedication to quality, we grew into a trusted partner for leading international furniture brands.
By 2005, we expanded into plastic components, with our chair parts becoming preferred choices for major companies. The Welax brand officially launched in 2010.
In 2019, we established our own laboratory and introduced BIFMA 5.1 and EN1335 testing standards, ensuring a more rigorous and scientific R&D process. In 2020, we invested 30 million RMB in research and development, creating 500+ independent molds and securing 1,000+ patents, reinforcing our foundation for innovation.
Our designs have earned global recognition, winning awards such as the MUSE Design Awards, International Design Awards (IDA), French Design Award, and GOOD DESIGN Award, alongside multiple international certifications.
